Patong Beach is very popular for DJ nights, beach party and live music till mid night. This is the beach where you can hear all types of songs and all time favorites. Generation gaps are leveled in this beach. If you are a teen who likes Shakira or Linking Park or Boyzone, the DJ has it all in his collection. Or even if you like oldies such as Eagles or BonnyM or Cliff Richard or John Denver, they will play it for you. You can go to the DJ and ask for your favorite numbers. This is the beach where every time you visit you will hear the popular numbers such as By the rivers of Babylon, Annie’s Song, Country Roads, La Bamba, How many roads and the number is never ending. They also have live bands at times and they bring the most popular bands to rock the evening. The beach turns into a dance floor and till mid night you can enjoy the live music with your drinks.
At the north end of Beach Road, Saxophone is the latest happening place in Patong Beach. The idea was evolved from the famous Saxophone group at Bangkok which was known for their jazz music and reggae experiments. They provide a relaxed ambiance for the guests and visitors to enjoy such lovely nights. They have a dance floor where you can shake a leg and enjoy the time to your hearts content. At the north end of Beach Road you will also find another live music hub Rock City. This is the place for metal lovers and high volume music. They play Metallica and other soft and hard metal numbers. The Live music is also popular at the beach road, where visitors sit in open air and enjoy the music on roll. Even some of the restaurants also offer Live Bands where you can enjoy the music with your food and drink.
